The servo-motor significantly increases the rotational speed of the
6-piece tool changer as it swings into position, saving a considerable
amount of time.

The diameter of the swing motor has been enlarged from 17mm to 30mm,
improving performance by 2000%. The motor shaft also has an increased
diameter for significantly enhanced stability.

The rotary encoder on the motor enables the control system to detect
when the indenter slips on an uneven test surface, automatically switching
the test sequence off to ensure the best possible protection for the machine
and the indenter.

Slewable downholder

No long tool changeovers for inaccessible test positions. The downholder can be swivelled in and out manually (and via motor is required). Furthermore, the bracing elements can be changed easily and can be adapted to suit the customer's component.

Workpiece recognition

Workpiece recognition

Work piece recognition with motorised height adjustment facilitates a high test run speed of 24mm/s. Sensor technology enables the  workpiece to be recognised and the bracing speed to be reduced accordingly (to protect the workpiece).
